Trout Alley on the Grand River is part of the Cayuga Run
The Cayuga Run is part of the Exceptional Waters were the regulations are barbless, baitless, single hook... catch and release.
This section also has a pair of bald eagles nesting... spotting them as they soar through the valley is an unecpected highlight.
These regulations were part of the fly fishing club push to maintain abundant stocking in this section of the Grand River.
This section has some very long pools averaging 2 meters in depth and is a favorite for drift boats.
The advantage of having local guiding staff is that they have chest waded this entire section and know it inside out.

This also is a spring fall steelhead section the first two weeks of May or mid September til December.
Once you have chosen a fishing route and time, we meet you at the starting point.
The platforms are spacious where you can sit or stand as the guide takes you down the river… the speed of the rafts are excellent for fishing the pools.
You can also choose to stop and shore fish interesting spots… remember it is your day.
