How the Trip Starts

Park your vehicle and meet us at the river, where you will fill out a waiver and complete final payment.  

Your guide will then fit you with a life jacket, paddles, food cooler, camera dry bag and drinking water. 

The guide will show how to seal the dry bag for keys, cameras and wallets. Then review how to sit and paddle the rafts.

This is a  great trip for non-swimmers because the river averages 1 meter in depth with 2 meter swimming spots.

And the rafts don't tip over!

Choosing the Right Guided Trip

If you want to simply paddle from start to finish, with a guide for safety... then you want our escorted trips. (cheaper prices)

Our guided trips are totally different from anything else offered in the valley.

We don't just take you down the river... but provide as many different experiences as possible.

We have you drinking from springs... learning bushman skills... trying wild edible plants... letting you handle stone arrowheads... identifying wildlife & fish... body surfing... playing together.

An amazing adventure for all ages, sizes and skill levels.

With us you can choose your own start time

You can bring your own lunch and do a campfire cookout along the way or order our Tripper Lunch.

When the trip is over the shuttle back to your vehicle is included in the price.

On the Cayuga Trip you can paddle to your campsite.

Most trips are 4-5 hours... but we can do shorter 2-3 hr trips.

If bad weather we will cancel and refund your deposit... because we want you to enjoy not endure the trip!

In 1960 the Grand River was a cesspool... in the year 2000 it won the international award in Australia for the best managed river in the world.

The river has drastically revitalized itself under the management of the Grand River Conservation Authority. 

It now has over 80 different species of fish in it. Ranging from minnows to bass & trout!
