So we have formed a 24 hour “River Rat Club” for those who wish to paddle the whitewater splash of the Nith when it floods after heavy summer rain.
Membership is free… People simply fill out the “Whitewater River Rat Club” email form to join.
Normally the Nith River is paddled as whitewater during April spring runoff, by mid May the river is usually too low to raft.
But… after a heavy summer rainfall… this river can shoot back up to whitewater rafting levels.
By monitoring levels after rainfall… we know 24 hours in advance... and will contact you when & if the whitewater is best.

When the Nith River is in summer whitewater conditions… we will email club members an invitation to join us the next day.
The email tells what to bring, what time, where & driving instructions from your nearest city.
If you can join us, simply confirm with an email before
This is a mix & match trip, so if we have five or more people confirmed... the trip is a go.
By 9pm we will reply to interested members... confirming whether the trip is on.
The cost is $50 to $55 each depending on group size... includes guide, life jacket, all rafting equipment, shuttle ride. Taxes not included
Everyone meets at the exit point... then are shuttled upstream to the start point... from there each raft paddles back to the parked vehicles.Trips are about 4 hours depending on river speed.
