The idea of the River Rat Club is that individuals can join other individuals to make up a rafting group to run some Southern Ontario Splash...

The “River Rat Club” for those who wish to paddle the whitewater splash of the Nith when it floods after snow melt or heavy rain.
Membership is free… People simply fill out the “Whitewater River Rat Club” email form to join.
Normally the Nith River is paddled as whitewater during April spring runoff, by May the river is usually too low to raft.
But… after a heavy summer rainfall… this river can shoot back up to whitewater rafting levels.
By monitoring levels after rainfall… we know 24 hours in advance... and will contact you when and if the whitewater is best.

When the Nith River is in summer whitewater conditions… we will email club members an invitation to join us the next day.
The email tells what to bring, what time, where & driving instructions from your nearest city.

The cost is $55.oo each... includes guide, life jacket, all rafting equipment, shuttle ride. Taxes not included
Everyone meets at the exit point... then are shuttled upstream to the start point... from there each raft paddles back to the parked vehicles.Trips are about 4 hours depending on river speed.
