Welcome to our Tube Fly Tying School outside of Toronto on the Grand River. The Fly Tying instructor is Mike Barrand part of the Loop Pro team and part of the Eumer Tube Flies Pro Staff.
The Course Background:
For years the Scandinavians have been tying flies on tubes rather than hooks.
This system eliminates the need to have several different hooks to cover different patterns of flies. Not only that, with a tube tied fly you can use a short shank hook regardless of the size of fly. This means less leverage working the hook out of the fishes mouth increasing your landing ratio.
This course will teach you how to properly assemble this simple system so you can apply it to your favorite patterns. You will also learn simple but effective patterns that can used to catch a wide variety of fish.
Cost: $56.50 per person for a 4-5 hour course with tax included. Tube fly tying kits available at discounted rates as part of course material.
