David is a Paramedic and TacSAR K9 Handler
His medical qualifications include NREMT-P, A-EMCA, CCEMT-P, Tactical Paramedic Instructor, W-EMT, PHTLS, ABLS, ACLS, and AMLS. David’s multi-disciplinary TacSAR qualifications include Wilderness Survival Instructor; Advanced Tracking; SARTech; Rig Rescue Operator; Advanced Diver; Swift Water Rescue Tech; SERT; NRA Distinguished Expert, and Spec Ops Protection (High Risk Protection Specialized). His academic qualifications include advanced degrees in multi-sensory learning.
David succeeds with K9 Ranger “Lead the Way” whose high drive; intense scenting abilities and sociability have earned him admiration from all teams he has worked with.
In 2008 he responded to Hurricane Ike, in addition to previous deployments with Chatham County MRC to Hurricane Katrina; the World Trade Centers. Due to their “unprecedented success” working with San Antonio and Dallas ICE SRT Teams, ICE policy was changed to include TacSAR K9s. David is also the co-founder of “Premiere Response” a training team committed to bringing everything from customized first aid and CPR training to Spec Ops skills to tactical, medical and rescue teams ranging from US and Canadian Forces teams to specialized industry. Qualified Expert on the panel for Canadian Red Cross.
